What you can expect

Booksearch Speed – our three levels

First Search

Once you’ve asked us to find a book, you can expect to hear back within a week of our receiving the request - if the book proves relatively easy to locate. You will receive a letter/email or telephone call with details including edition, condition and price. You are under no obligation to accept our offer.

Second Search

However if the book is difficult to locate, we will include it in a weekly list of books wanted circulated on- & off-line to the secondhand book trade. If successful you will be notified within three weeks.

Ongoing search

Book requests are kept live for a year, unless you notify us to the contrary. As dealers’ stock changes daily requests are constantly circulated for matching.
